In life we find ourselves in situations where we are overwhelmed, and with deadlines that are unattainable. It is in these times of crisis that we should always turn to God.

When it is crunch time and we are in dire straits we need to turn to our Creator, asking Him to work on our behalf. When you pray for God’s help, may I submit to you to allow God to become you. Allow your Redeemer to take you over, and to let His Spirit guide your thoughts and your actions. Allow the Lord to take over your mind and your speech. Let your tongue become mute, your mind blank, and let the words that preceded out of your mouth be spoken by His Spirit speaking for you. We are at our best when He is not only working for us, but in us.

There is human knowledge, and there is Divine knowledge. God’s knowledge is the cause of everything that is and will ever be. He knows and sees your situation and identifies the solution into being. What He knows, is – and what He thinks becomes reality. He thought creation into existence and He will think your problems into solutions. This is the way of grace. Trust him – when you are doing that, you are living the life of grace.

Philippians 2:13 – God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

When we submit ourselves and allow God to work within us, this gives us the power and desire to do that which is pleasing in His sight. When we try to do things “our” way and affect our own destiny, we are destined for certain failure. It in our own human nature to try to take control of our own lives. We must submit to Him, and allow Him to carry out His will in our lives. This releases the power of the Spirit to do things in our lives that lead to success and we are in turn able to do that which pleases our Lord.

Ever patient and always faithful, God delights when we turn to Him in faith, submitting ourselves. By doing this we receive his grace and mercy and reconnect with his loving plan by placing our confidence in Him. Our heavenly Father gathers all of our thoughts, formed and unformed and aligns them into His proper channels.

As He guides our will, thoughts, mind and emotion into His design, we become recipients of His mercy as it overwhelms our lives for the good. This is the power of His grace. Humanity for centuries has tried to lift themselves into Heaven by the goodness they perceive within themselves, when they answer has been staring them in the face all along – Grace.  Grace has to be gulped down straight, not watered down, and with no ice. This is the “cocktail” for abundant life.

John 10:10 –  I have come that you might have life, and have it more abundantly.
