Have you ever been in a situation when the right person shows up and everything gets quickly in order? It could be when parents come home after a sibling has been babysitting or a boss returns to bring order to the workplace. We are called by God to shine as lights in the darkness. As believers of the Lord Jesus Christ, God shows up when we show up in our homes, work, church, or community. As we consider the difference when God shows up, we can discipline ourselves to actively and intentionally represent Jesus Christ. When God shows up—everything is different because He is God and the Ruler of the whole earth.

Dear Lord, help me to adequately represent You everywhere. I want You to show up so that those who don’t know You can clearly be drawn to the light of Christ. In Jesus’ name, amen.
